This is from today’s KDE Developers Journal:

KDE_logo KDE 3.5.1 for SUSE 10.0 - Bug Fixessuse KDE 3.5.1 for SUSE 10.0 - Bug FixesKDE 3.5.1 packages for SUSE Linux 10.0 are now available which include fixes for the worst KDE 3.5.1 regressions. They will also appear at the usual YaST source. These packages are unsupported and mostly untested: kdelibs3-devel and kdebase3-devel have a known wrong dependency which can be safely ignored and will be removed in the next revision. Packages for older distributions may follow once the new dependency resolution of the build server for older distributions problems are solved out .

skde3517vg KDE 3.5.1 for SUSE 10.0 - Bug FixesSo, I refreshed my Yast/Apt repositories and it seems that Yast repository do not have them, yet, while Apt repositories, “kde” and “kde3-stable”, have been uploaded with 3.5.1 packages. So, I updated all my system to 3.5.1 and haven’t noticed any problems with update.

If you do not have Apt installed, then will recommend to wait for them to appear in Yast repository, instead of downloading packages manually from KDE’s Official FTP. As ususal, you will need to have the following repository addresses added to your Yast Installation Sources and wait once 3.5.1 packages have been uploaded:

Protocol: HTTP
Server: ftp.gwdg.de
For 64bit:
pub/linux/suse/ftp.suse.com/suse/x86_64/supplementary/KDE/
update_for_10.0/yast-source/
For 32bit:
pub/linux/suse/ftp.suse.com/suse/i386/supplementary/KDE/
update_for_10.0/yast-source/

Remember that 3.5.1 is mainly bug fixes, compared to 3.5. As SUSErs most probably know, SUSE 10.1 will be available with KDE 3.5.1, Gnome 2.12.2, Kernel 2.6.16 and X.org 6.9, which is not far away
