Guys and professionals visiting my blog … I need your help and opinions.
The following picture (click to enlarge the image) is what I am looking for. Basically what software to implement, for which I will install Linux (SUSE 10.1 32bit) on a separate workstation, and which will be connected to office’s network, having an IP of 192.168.X.X, and later, if all goes well, transfer it to our main server, which hosts the website and some databases, so to have access to portal(s) from internet.
I hope the picture is clear, as is my hand writing, and explains enough for you to understand what I need …. the question is how and which available tools/applications/solutions to use - opensource, free (for now) and easy to implement and administer. As no one in the office has ever done this, I decided to take the initiative, so to make the team work more coordinated and time saving. Maybe SugarCRM with Open Xchange. The E-mail part which comes with some packages is not important.
It would be awesome if I can come up with some solution in next few days. I have never done this so I ask to be patient as possess nearly no experience with implementing such solutions :)
Please ask me questions if something is unclear and give suggestions, even if they are “little” different from what is on pic. I will be highly thankful for any input.
Tnx.
