In openSUSE 10.2alpha 4 release you can notice the new start menus for KDE, KickOff Start Menu, and Gnome, first implemented on SLED10 which already can be used on SUSE 10.1
New splashscreen as well ( looking OK )
We have some new eye candy and features in the upcoming version of openSUSE 10.2 … Nice.

Worked for me on a Compaq Presario with a 5007 in 64 bit Hardy. I needed to add... 
I have a advent t2370 bought from pc world who no longer sell xp machines... 
This would be much nicer if compiled with sunstudio cc, so you could...
