Expect the final 4.1 to be released on 29th of July. I’d really love to see openSUSE 11 shipped with 4.1, but for now, even with all the ins and outs of current 4.0 release, I am actually enjoying it. The concept has much to bring and on top of that it feels snazzier compared to 3.5.8, though KWin compositing makes it slower. If interested, also check out the 4.1 Feature Plan.
